Could you imagine me actually instructing an entire class? This isn't a complaint or anything, even helping out Eijun was easy... but that was thanks to our battery.
[ The younger being so motivated and striving to show his true potential, the memory of that manages to pull a smile from him. ]
I'll figure out what I wanna do soon enough, I guess.
But you're right. It was tough work, remember when I'd text you late at night because we'd finally be leaving the field? Eijun just never knew how to quit. He
[ It's sudden yet obvious, given how he stops mid-text and his thumb slips to accidentally hit send as his phone tumbles off onto the floor.
He doesn't recognize the room or the head that bobs in and out of the water, but it smells of chlorine and he can hear his own voice. It's like he's underwater, really, but there's no doubt that he's keenly instructing... whoever this person is; giving him advice on his stroke, how he needs to extend his reach.
βIt's familiar yet unfamiliar all at once.
When he settles back into reality he's looking around the room, baffled by he's just seen, and he needs to ease himself back before bothering to tag Rin again.
He looks at the time, wonders if it's just because of how late it is, and rubs his forehead briefly. ]
I think I'm falling asleep. Just saw something weird.
It was super late, too, and there's no way in hell I'm staying late by a pool unless I'm with you. And this guy was a complete stranger... or at least he looked it, I couldn't see his face.
[doesn't matter if it's Late, or that Rin still hasn't replaced his stolen bike -- he takes one short subway ride and is soon texting here rather than knocking. he doesn't want to wake the other yamazaki of the house; he'll be waiting on the stoop, wearing sweats and a tank he was clearly going to sleep in]
[ quick question: why is rin simultaneously the best and worst friend?
In the mean time Sousuke is busy mentally scrolling through his memory in search for a time he's ever experienced that memory firsthand. He remains skeptical despite this happening before, something he's kept hidden from Rin because there was a subtle mention of him and it was far too easy to take it as some weird, specific sort of dream-like deja vu. Which, after putting it all together, sounds even less believable than what's really happening.
But now it's happened again and he doesn't know whether or not it'd be smart of him to keep denying it.
He gets up soon after receiving the text, opening the door and allowing light to pour out from the apartment before he steps outside. Signature hoodie on because why the fuck not. ]
Hey. [ What the hell else is he supposed to say? ] You couldn't even bother to put an actual shirt on?

something detail-oriented (read: not nosy) that makes a difference sounds about right, though.

I might actually consider taking some classes.
For business.
But I gotta think some more on it.

I also thought about something dumb like... coaching.
Physical education, you know?
But who knows.
Re: 6/4 late
